Tempo Cron Explorer
Understand when a cron schedule runs.
Developer utility for inspecting five-field cron schedules in an explicit IANA timezone, with matched field values, next UTC and local occurrences, and visible DST policy.
What it does
- Numeric wildcards, lists, ranges, and steps
- Explicit reference timestamp and IANA timezone
- Day-of-month/day-of-week OR semantics
- UTC offsets reveal repeated times during DST changes
- Download a JSON schedule report
Try asking
“Explore */15 * * * * after 2026-01-01T00:00:00Z in UTC”
“Explore 30 2 * * * after 2026-03-08T00:00:00Z in America/New_York”
“Explore 0 9 1 * 1 after 2026-01-01T00:00:00Z in UTC”
Limitations
- Five numeric fields only; no names, macros, seconds, years, ?, L, W, #, or commands
- Reference years 1970–2095; searches up to 1,830 days; at most 20 occurrences
- Follows Vixie star-prefix day semantics; dialects and job schedulers can differ
- Skips nonexistent wall times; runs both instances of repeated wall times. This is an explicit simulation policy, not a promise about a particular scheduler
- Does not install, execute, or monitor jobs
